At Lakeside, we recognize that “small groups” are not a secondary optional component of a spiritual life. Much of the time, they are where church is done, where those following the Jesus Way participate in the spirit of God moving in their world. In small groups, we gather for conversation and study, launch individual and group experiments for living daily the Way of Christ, and plot goodness and peace locally and globally.  Currently, the following groups meet regularly:

The Way

The Way is a group of seekers and wayfarers exploring the radical message of Jesus. Together, we will learn how to follow Jesus in spreading His life-changing love and peace to ALL people... both our neighbors and those on the fringes of society. We meet at 7 pm on the second and fourth Friday of every month at Lakeside Lutheran Church, 1101 South Egret Bay Blvd (Hwy 270), League City, TX.  We also have an online group where we share encouragement and inspiration between our gatherings: http://groups.google.com/group/the-way-at-lakeside
