Pastor James (Jim) Fowler, D. Min. has served at Lakeside since November 1996.  Ordained in 1983, he holds the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music; Master of Divinity from Trinity Seminary; and Doctor of Ministry from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.  Jim and his wife, Heidi, have one daughter, Sarah.  He has served in the Houston area since 1991.

Brenda Varvoutis plans the music for worship and leads our choirs and musical programs. She has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Houston. She is the Lead Choir Director at Queens Intermediate School, and was previously Music Department Chairman at Bondy Intermediate School. She is an accomplished Pianist and Flutist. Brenda has four children and one grandchild.
